Manaslu Circuit Trek

The Manaslu Circuit Trek was once a secluded trekking manifestation as there was a considerable lack of tea houses along the trekking trails. Because of this, this trek was mainly the concern of travelers who loved camping out in the wilderness and the remoteness of the area. But now, as the tea houses are built in abundance, it has been gaining more attention by travelers and adventurers. The areas around the Manaslu Region have yet to touch upon the quiddities of modernization. As a result, many of the areas and settlements along the Manaslu Circuit Trek offers isolated acreages which give off the feeling of solitude. It's off-beaten trails and a lack of infrastructural congression give the result of most of the ancient traditions and customs of the people preserved in a metaphorical time capsule. Trekking along the settlements and villages in the Manaslu Circuit Trek lets you experience the cultures, customs, and rituals of the people in the sequestrations of the Himalayas. Manaslu Circuit Trek was opened in the year 1992 and quickly grew in popularity because of its captivating natural quintessence, gorgeous views of the mountains and the dainty villages in the region.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek allows you the opportunity to experience magnificent views of the mountains like Mount Manaslu, the eighth highest mountain in the world, along with many of its surrounding peaks like the Sringi Himal, Himlung, Cheo Peak, Gyagi Kung, Kang Koru and Annapurna II among many others. The area is filled with their silky emerald gossamer. The trekking trails are also ornamented quite attractively with Mani stone-wall carvings which give the trails a celestial quality. The wildlife and the biodiversity of the region are also a matter of great integrity because the forests of the Manaslu Region are home to a great many numbers of wild animals and heterogeneous avifaunas. The jaded bamboo forests give off a heavenly sight under the shimmers of the Sun, providing the trekkers with a beautiful view of the chartreuse terrain. You will also be excursing many monasteries all along the trekking trails, their spires decorated opulently with colorful prayer flags that are a contrast to the ivory landscape. As you ascend up to the Larkya La Pass, you will be blessed with the breath-taking view of the cerulean glacier ornamented majestically with the sight of Mount Manaslu.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is incorporated within the perimeters of the Manaslu Conservation Area and you would be given the opportunity to encounter the idiosyncratic flora and fauna of the region up close while on the trek. Wild and endangered species of Snow-Leopards have their habitat in the conservation area and you might catch glimpses of it while on the journey. The foliage changes from sub-tropical jungles in the Himalayan foothills to alpine woodlands as you move ahead from Soti Khola further up to the village of Namrung, and the Larkya La at 5000 meters. The Manaslu Circuit Trek is an adventure where you will have the opportunity to observe the Gurung and Buddhist cultures, excurse the monasteries and many places of worship, wrap your aesthetics in the beautiful natural surroundings and see wonderful sights of opal mountain peaks.
